Personal:
I have lived in Romeo my entire life. For fun I like to lift weights, spend time with friends and family, keep up to date on current issues and follow sports. My sport of choice is hockey and my favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. I have had the opportunity to attend NHL games at 9 different NHL rinks (so far) and would love to attend a game at as many as possible. I also collect hockey jerseys and after 30 years of collecting I am sitting at just over 300 jerseys. I have two dogs, Harvey & Chester and a cat named Darla. I am in the process of restoring a 1969 Dodge Charger.
I have been very fortunate in my education career. I have taught in a variety of settings: High School, College, Adult Education, Summer School, Home School and even in China & Germany.
I have been with Lake Shore Public Schools since 2012 and have loved every minute of it. I am lucky that I get to teach great kids, teach along side educationally and ideologically diverse colleagues and work for a very supportive administrative staff. I love Lake Shore High School and cannot imagine myself anywhere else.
On July 7th 2017, I proposed to my amazing girlfriend at Mount Rushmore, we were married on February 16th, 2018, our son Dean Rolland St.Laurent was born on July 18th, 2019.
